Permeable brain is characterized as the principal plane of advancement where the youngster has the capacity to assimilate a lot of data about his/her condition through his/her detects. The retentive psyche is a widespread attribute of small kids. It is one of a kind to the initial six years of life. The retentive psyche works unwittingly which propels the youngster to search out new encounters in nature. It records these encounters in precise subtleties like pictures that stay with the kid for the remainder of his/her life. Childââ¬â¢s mind just records what it is presented to. This is rather than the grown-up cerebrum that stores things progressively like a painter, intentionally picking what subtleties to incorporate or discard. The grown-up mind just recalls what it notification or thinks about significant. Dr. Montessori accepted that a significant part of the improvement and development of a personââ¬â¢s insight is from birth to the age of six. Youthful childrenââ¬â¢s mind ââ¬Å"absorbâ⬠data rapidly, which empowers them to create designs for learning and critical thinking that will keep on developing for an amazing duration. At such a youthful age, this learning is without exertion. Montessori saw the spongy psyche in two stages. During the main stage, from birth to three years of age, the little youngster accidentally or unknowingly gains his fundamental capacities. She considered it the time of oblivious creation or the oblivious retentive psyche. The childââ¬â¢s work during this period is to get autonomous from the grown-up for his essential human capacities. By around three years of age, he moves into the following period of the spongy psyche, which Montessori called the time of cognizant work or the cognizant permeable brain. During this period, the childââ¬â¢s scientific brain constrains him to consummate in himself that which is currently there. His principal task during this stage is opportunity. Instances of a childââ¬â¢s spongy psyche are language aptitudes, engine abilities and social aptitudes. Best model as I would like to think, would be childââ¬â¢s learning native language. We set no exercises for our youngsters to show them how to talk be that as it may, by simply listening and watching adultââ¬â¢s talk, they step by step figure out how to talk. By just watching us, as grown-ups, they figure out acceptable behavior to stand out enough to be noticed and in cutting edge steps even they become acquainted with desires for how the world will treat them. In Montessori study halls the readied condition permits kids to learn more parts of reality. For instance, the Practical life subject, permits kids to not additionally improve their engine aptitudes yet in addition to keep the peace, to deal with their condition and to treat others. Arranged condition alongside the childrenââ¬â¢s retentive psyche empowers them to create designs for learning and critical thinking that will keep on developing for an incredible duration.

Using Zoloft to Treat Panic Disorder Panic Disorder Treatment Print Zoloft for Panic Disorder By Katharina Star, PhD facebook linkedin Katharina Star, PhD, is an expert on anxiety and panic disorder. Dr. Star is a professional counselor, and she is trained in creative art therapies and mindfulness. Its also often prescribed for people whove been diagnosed with panic disorder, a condition that causes frequent episodes of specific symptoms called panic attacks. If your doctor suggests you take Zoloft as part of a treatment plan for panic disorder, it can be helpful to learn how the drug might work to help you manage your symptoms. The more you understand about any medication you take, including how it affects the body and any potential side effects it might cause, the more comfortable youre likely to feel when taking it. How Zoloft and Other SSRIs Work Zoloft (sertraline) has been available for the treatment of depression since the mid-1990s.?? At that time, many studies found the drug to be highly effective for treating panic disorder as well. It is a medication that is prescribed to treat mental illnesses like depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and more.?? People who take Zoloft often report improvements in mood, appetite, sleep quality, energy level and interest in daily life. Many say that they feel less afraid or anxious and have fewer panic attacks. Zoloft belongs to a class of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Examples of other SSRIs include Prozac (fluoxetine), Paxil (paroxetine), and Lexapro (escitalopram). These medications work by increasing the amount of serotonin available in the brain.?? Serotonin is a neurotransmitterâ"a chemical that carries signals between brain cellsâ"that, among other things, helps to regulate mood. In particular, serotonin is associated with positive emotions; in fact, its sometimes called the feel-good chemical. As an SSRI, Zoloft and other SSRIs do exactly what the name suggestsâ"they block the reabsorption, or uptake, of serotonin in the brain, leaving more of the chemical available. Research has found that for many people, taking 50 to 175 milligrams of Zoloft per day can reduce the severity and frequency of panic attacks and baseline anxiety, and is as effective as cognitive behavioral therapy.?? Side Effects Since drugs like Zoloft affect the brain, you may be worried about how taking them will affect youâ"that youll feel strange or have trouble thinking, for instance. Truthfully, theres no way to predict how an SSRI will make you feel since everyone responds differently to the drug. One thing that is for sure is that you wont get relief from your symptoms right away as the drug will need to be in your system for some time before you feel the full effects. Common Side Effects You may experience side effects of Zoloft before you notice youre feeling better. The side effects may include: DrowsinessNausea (which you may be able to avoid by taking your medication with food)Dry mouthInsomniaDiarrheaNervousness, agitation or restlessnessDizzinessHeadacheBlurred vision?? Sexual Side Effects One of the most potentially bothersome side effects of Zoloft and other SSRIs are sexual problems. These can include reduced sexual desire or difficulty reaching orgasm, or less frequently inability to maintain an erection (erectile dysfunction). These can be so distressing for some people that they choose not to take the medication and live with their psychiatric symptoms. If taking Zoloft interferes with your sex life, the Mayo Clinic suggests some things you can try before quitting the medication:?? Give it time. Sometimes sexual side effects of antidepressants get better on their own. Adjust your dosage. Speak to your doctor first, of course, but you may be able to take a lower dose and still get the same benefits with less impact on your sexual function. Adding a second antidepressant. One, in particular, Wellbutrin (bupropion), has been found to sometimes counter the sexual side effects of SSRIs. Take medication to improve sexual function. You can try Viagra (sildenafil), Cialis (tadalafil) or Levitra (vardenafil), which are all approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for treating sexual problems in men. Limited research suggests sildenafil may improve sexual problems caused by antidepressants in some women, but more information is needed on its effectiveness and safety in women. If none of these measures work, you may need to try a different antidepressant to find one that doesnt have the same effect on your sexual function. Serious Side Effects Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following less common side effects of Zoloft: Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing, and swelling of the face, mouth, throat or tongueVomitingConfusionExtreme nervousness, irritability or anxietyRapid heart rateSeizures?? Serotonin Syndrome In very rare cases, an antidepressant such as Zoloft can cause high levels of serotonin to build up in the body. This is most likely to happen to someone whos taking another medication that can elevate serotonin such as other antidepressants, certain pain or headache medications, and the herbal supplement St. Johns wort.?? This is one reason why its important to always make sure your doctor knows which other drugsâ"including over-the-counter medicines and supplementsâ"you might be taking before he prescribes something new for you. Signs and symptoms of serotonin syndrome include anxiety, agitation, sweating, confusion, tremors, restlessness, lack of coordination and a rapid heart rate. Seek immediate medical attention if you have any of these signs or symptoms.?? Black-Box Warnings All antidepressants, including Zoloft, have a black box warning. Black box warnings are assigned to medications by the U.S. Food Drug Administration. In some cases, children, teenagers and young adults (under 25) may have increased suicidal thoughts or behavior when taking antidepressants, especially in the first few weeks after starting the drug or after the dose is changed.?? Anyone taking an antidepressant should be watched closely for worsening depression or unusual behavior. If you or someone you know has suicidal thoughts when taking an antidepressant, immediately contact your doctor or get emergency help. Keep in mind that antidepressants are more likely to reduce suicide risk in the long run by improving mood. Stopping Zoloft If you decide you want to stop taking Zoloft, do not go cold turkey. Talk to your doctor first so he can help you gradually wean off the drug. Quitting abruptly can cause you to potentially experience some serious withdrawal-like symptoms. Even if youre very ready to go off Zoloft, the process will be more pleasant if you take your time.

While economics is largely an academic discipline, it is quite common for economists to act as business consultants, media analysts, and advisers on government policy. As a result, its very important to understand when economists are making objective, evidence-based statements about how the world works and when they are making value judgments about what policies should be enacted or what business decisions should be made. Positive Analysis Descriptive, factual statements about the world are referred to as positive statements by economists. The term positive isnt used to imply that economists always convey good news, of course, and economists often make very, well, negative-positive statements. Positive analysis, accordingly, uses scientific principles to arrive at objective, testable conclusions. Normative Analysis On the other hand, economists refer to prescriptive, value-based statements as normative statements. Normative statements usually use factual evidence as support, but they are not by themselves factual. Instead, they incorporate the opinions and underlying morals and standards of those people making the statements. Normative analysis refers to the process of making recommendations about what action should be taken or taking a particular viewpoint on a topic. Examples of Positive vs. Normative The distinction between positive and normative statements is easily shown via examples. The statement: The unemployment rate is currently at 9 percent. is a positive statement, since it conveys factual, testable information about the world. Statements such as: The unemployment rate is too high. The government must take action in order to reduce the unemployment rate. are normative statements, since they include value judgments and are of a prescriptive nature. Its important to understand that, despite the fact that the two normative statements above are intuitively related to the positive statement, they cannot be logically inferred from the objective information provided. (In other words, they dont have to be true given that the unemployment rate is at 9 percent.) How to Effectively Disagree With an Economist People seem to like disagreeing with economists (and, in fact, economists often seem to enjoy disagreeing with one another), so its important to understand the distinction between positive and normative in order to disagree effectively. To disagree with a positive statement, one must bring other facts to the table or question the economists methodology. In order to disagree with the positive statement about unemployment above, for example, one would have to make the case that the unemployment rate isnt actually 9 percent. One could do this either by providing different unemployment data or by performing different calculations on the original data. To disagree with a normative statement, one can either dispute the validity of the positive information used to reach the value judgment or can argue the merits of the normative conclusion itself. This becomes a more murky type of debateà since there is no objective right and wrong when it comes to normative statements. In a perfectly organized world, economists would be pure scientists who perform only positive analysis and exclusively convey factual, scientific conclusions, and policymakers and consultants would take the positive statements and develop normative recommendations. In reality, however, economists often play both of these roles, so its important to be able to distinguish fact from opinion, i.e. positive from normative.

If you got low SAT scores or low ACT scores, or if you simply didnt take the exam in time for application deadlines, realize that hundreds of test-optional colleges do not require entrance exams as part of their admissions applications. The list below is just a sampling of the roughly 850 four-year colleges that do not require the SAT or ACT. I have, however, included most of the highly selective schools that dont require scores. To see a complete list, visit the FairTest website. Also be sure to check out my list of 20 Great Colleges for Students with Low SAT Scores. Colleges dont use test scores for many reasons. Some technical schools, music schools and art schools dont see the ACT and SAT as good measures of the types of skills they require. Other schools recognize that the SAT and ACT limit their applicant pools and give an unfair advantage to students from schools or families that can afford test prep courses. You will also find on the FairTest list that many schools with strong religious affiliations do not require standardized tests. Admissions policies change frequently, so check with each school for the latest testing guidelines. Also, realize that some of the schools below are test-optional only for students who meet certain GPA or class rank requirements. string(39) " end of his knowledge on this subject\." Cody asked the obvious question. ââ¬Å"Soâ⬠¦if heââ¬â¢s gone â⬠¦how did that happen?â⬠Hugh rubbed his eyes. ââ¬Å"He was summoned. We will write a custom essay sample on Succubus Heat CHAPTER 11 or any similar topic only for you Order Now â⬠ââ¬Å"Oh, shit,â⬠said Peter. His fun-in-the-sun joy disappeared. He looked as grim as Hugh and me. ââ¬Å"That changes everything.â⬠I glanced between him and Hugh, feeling as naà ¯ve as Cody. ââ¬Å"Whatââ¬â¢s that mean exactly? Iââ¬â¢ve heard of summoning, but thatââ¬â¢s about it. I donââ¬â¢t know any specifics. I donââ¬â¢t know anyone itââ¬â¢s happened to.â⬠Peter nodded. ââ¬Å"Me either, but I know what it is. Basically, a powerful human calls and binds a demon to his or her will. That human can then imprison and control the demon.â⬠ââ¬Å"Like Marloweââ¬â¢s Dr. Faustus .â⬠We all turned to stare at Cody. Citing highbrow literary references was usually my thing, not his. ââ¬Å"What?â⬠he asked, looking uncomfortable under our scrutiny. ââ¬Å"I had to read it in high school.â⬠I looked back at Peter. ââ¬Å"Okay, weââ¬â¢re immortal, and we could never even scratch a demon. How could a human control one?â⬠ââ¬Å"Humans who use magic wield a different kind of power than immortals. Besides, from what Iââ¬â¢ve heard, those who summon demons often have help,â⬠explained Peter. He glanced at Hugh for confirmation. ââ¬Å"From another demon,â⬠the imp said. ââ¬Å"Whoa. Letââ¬â¢s go back to the part about controlling demons. What exactly is this human making Jerome do?â⬠asked Cody. ââ¬Å"Probably nothing,â⬠said Hugh. ââ¬Å"Or else someone would have found him by now. My guess is heââ¬â¢s just being hidden.â⬠Cody frowned. ââ¬Å"Why? If youââ¬â¢ve got a pet demon, why not use him? Otherwise, whatââ¬â¢s the point?â⬠It all came together now. ââ¬Å"To get him out of the picture,â⬠I said slowly. ââ¬Å"Thatââ¬â¢s it. The final piece in all this weird demon intrigue. Thatââ¬â¢s what all the misdirection was building toward.â⬠ââ¬Å"Right. Cedric gets rid of Jerome, and suddenly thereââ¬â¢s an opening in Seattle for a new archdemon. And if Jerome doesnââ¬â¢t return soon, they will get a new archdemon and reestablish the hierarchy here.â⬠Hugh gestured to all of us. ââ¬Å"The status quo will resume.â⬠ââ¬Å"Letââ¬â¢s stick to ââ¬Ëwhenââ¬â¢ he returns and not ââ¬Ëif,'â⬠I said. ââ¬Å"And I donââ¬â¢t think Cedricââ¬â¢s behind it.â⬠ââ¬Å"Of course Cedricââ¬â¢s behind it,â⬠said Hugh. ââ¬Å"Theyââ¬â¢ve been fighting over territory, right? You of all people should know that.â⬠I shook my head, recalling Cedricââ¬â¢s exasperation and Nanetteââ¬â¢s smug look. ââ¬Å"Noâ⬠¦I think Cedricââ¬â¢s being set up here. If you ask me, itââ¬â¢s Nanette whoââ¬â¢s behind it.â⬠I gave them a quick recap of my observations of her with both Cedric and Jerome. Hugh arched an eyebrow. ââ¬Å"Portland Nanette? Sheââ¬â¢s hot, Iââ¬â¢ll give you that, but sheââ¬â¢s not that strong.â⬠ââ¬Å"All the more reason for her to mess with Jerome and Cedric. Sheââ¬â¢s been worried about them dragging her into their turf war. Besides, if she combined her power with a human capable of a summoningâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ ââ¬Å"Yeah,â⬠he admitted. ââ¬Å"She could maybe do itâ⬠¦but that doesnââ¬â¢t mean she did. My moneyââ¬â¢s still on Cedric.â⬠ââ¬Å"Wouldnââ¬â¢t she get in trouble for that?â⬠asked Cody. ââ¬Å"Only if sheââ¬â¢s caught,â⬠said Peter. I sighed. ââ¬Å"And in the meantime, this is bad for Jerome.â⬠ââ¬Å"Glad to see your powers of stating the obvious didnââ¬â¢t disappear with your shape-shifting,â⬠remarked Hugh. I shot him a glare. ââ¬Å"I mean reputation-wise. Nanette told me lots of people have been keeping an eye on Jerome because of all the stuff thatââ¬â¢s gone down here-particularly with letting nephilim escape. They think he canââ¬â¢t keep control. Even if he surfaces tomorrow, Iââ¬â¢ve got to imagine that getting summoned in the first place wonââ¬â¢t look good.â⬠ââ¬Å"It wonââ¬â¢t,â⬠agreed Hugh. ââ¬Å"In fact, thatââ¬â¢s the other reason I stopped by. A bunch of demons are having a meeting tonight to talk about replacing him. Back room of the Cellar at seven.â⬠ââ¬Å"Wow, they move fast,â⬠said Cody. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s nothing official. Once word got out that Jerome was gone, every demon maneuvering for power moved in like that.â⬠Hugh snapped his fingers. I refrained from pointing out that all demons were maneuvering for power as a general rule. ââ¬Å"Theyââ¬â¢re mostly just here to assert themselves-show how tough they are, cozy up to Grace and Mei. They might try to schmooze us a little, actually.â⬠ââ¬Å"Why? We donââ¬â¢t have any say in this,â⬠said Peter. He glanced between us all. ââ¬Å"Do we?â⬠ââ¬Å"No, but eventually someone from Management will come here to size up the situation and will talk to us in their assessment. Everything plays a part. Those wanting the position will strut around, show how they could keep this place in line, and put their bids in.â⬠ââ¬Å"Is Nanette going to be at this meeting?â⬠I asked suspiciously. ââ¬Å"Yes,â⬠said Hugh, eyeing me. ââ¬Å"And so will Cedric.â⬠I eyed him right back. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢m telling you, itââ¬â¢s not Cedric. Iââ¬â¢m certain of it.â⬠ââ¬Å"What, you have donuts with him for a week, and now you guys are BFF?â⬠ââ¬Å"No, but I know him better than you do. And I think I understand Nanette better than you too,â⬠I shot back. ââ¬Å"So, you guysâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ began Cody, a questioning note in his voice. ââ¬Å"Are you sleeping with Cedric?â⬠Hugh demanded. ââ¬Å"Are you playing both sides now?â⬠ââ¬Å"No!â⬠ââ¬Å"It kind of sounds like it.â⬠ââ¬Å"You guys,â⬠repeated Cody. ââ¬Å"Look,â⬠I said, ââ¬Å"you just want to believe Nanetteââ¬â¢s innocent because you think sheââ¬â¢s hot.â⬠ââ¬Å"She is hot. For a demon.â⬠ââ¬Å"You guys!â⬠yelled Cody. We turned to him. ââ¬Å"What about us?â⬠ââ¬Å"What about us?â⬠I asked. ââ¬Å"What are we?â⬠Codyââ¬â¢s face was pinched and worried. Like Peter, he no longer seemed that excited about his newfound freedom. ââ¬Å"Are we human?â⬠I opened my mouth to answer and then fell silent. I honestly didnââ¬â¢t know. Hugh glanced at me and shrugged. ââ¬Å"Not exactly,â⬠said Peter. ââ¬Å"I think weââ¬â¢re kind ofâ⬠¦in stasis. Weââ¬â¢re neither mortal nor immortal.â⬠ââ¬Å"We have to be one or the other,â⬠argued Hugh. ââ¬Å"Thereââ¬â¢s no purgatory equivalent to mortality.â⬠Peter shrugged. ââ¬Å"Hellââ¬â¢s still got the lease on our souls. Thatââ¬â¢s not going to change, no matter who our archdemon is. Removing him from the equation cuts us off from the abilities we get with immortality, but thatââ¬â¢s temporary.â⬠ââ¬Å"But does it cut us off from immortality itself?â⬠asked Cody. ââ¬Å"Can we die?â⬠Silence fell. ââ¬Å"Shit,â⬠said Hugh. ââ¬Å"I thinkâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ Peter bit his lip. I had a feeling he was at the end of his knowledge on this subject. You read "Succubus Heat CHAPTER 11" in category "Essay examples" ââ¬Å"I think theyââ¬â¢d bring us back if we did.â⬠ââ¬Å"You think ?â⬠asked Cody incredulously. Peter threw up his hands. ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t know! This has never happened to me before, okay? Maybe we are human. Maybe we can get sick. Maybe we can lose in a fight. Maybe Georginaââ¬â¢ll get her period. I donââ¬â¢t know, okay?â⬠ââ¬Å"Whoa,â⬠I said, straightening up. ââ¬Å"What do you mean-ââ¬Å" ââ¬Å"Just stop it, all of you,â⬠exclaimed Hugh. ââ¬Å"Weââ¬â¢re not going to figure any of this out right now. Just go to the meeting and find out there. Grace and Mei are trying to manage things for now, and theyââ¬â¢ll know whatââ¬â¢s up. No point in panicking now.â⬠We sat there, and I knew that despite his words, we were all indeed panicking. My stomach was rolling, but this time, it wasnââ¬â¢t a reaction to the severing of my bond with Hell. This was born of pure terror. When things were bad in my life-particularly after Seth and I had broken up-there had been times when Iââ¬â¢d hated immortality. Death had sounded appealing. I honestly hadnââ¬â¢t been able to fathom how I could endure the centuries to come and had envied the finite life spans of humans. But now? Faced with the idea that I could actually die? Suddenly, desperately, I wanted to cling to my immortality with every scrap of my strength. Death was bleak, dark, and frightening. All the worldââ¬â¢s dangers descended on me at once, all the things Iââ¬â¢d hitherto been able to ignore. Car accidents. Electrocution. Bird flu. The world was no longer safe. If the vampires felt any such fears, they apparently decided it wasnââ¬â¢t going to get in the way of their last few days as free men. They rose as one and made motions to leave. ââ¬Å"Well, if Jeromeââ¬â¢s going to get replaced with or without us, then thereââ¬â¢s no point sitting and moping,â⬠said Peter. ââ¬Å"We got cut off without warning,â⬠I told him. ââ¬Å"We could get reconnected to Hellââ¬â¢s circuit board just as suddenly, you know. Arenââ¬â¢t you a little nervous about getting caught out in the sun?â⬠ââ¬Å"Theyââ¬â¢re not going to make any decisions in the next five hours,â⬠said Peter brashly-too brashly, I thought. He paused a moment, his gaze drifting to my window and the blue sky beyond it. There, in his dark eyes, I saw the tiniest, tiniest bit of longing. It occurred to me then just how much he must have missed the sun these last thousand years or so. Like the rest of us, heââ¬â¢d willingly sold his soul for immortality. Along with that, heââ¬â¢d gotten superhuman strength and speed in exchange for a dependency on blood, a denial of sunlight, and a job as a dispenser of fear and nightmares. I certainly had regrets about my hellish deal some days; no doubt he did too. And maybe, despite his lax, overconfident attitude about the sun, he truly was aware of the risk of getting fried-and thought it was worth it after all this time. He and Cody left, leaving me and a still bleak-looking Hugh. I gently touched the impââ¬â¢s shoulder. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢m sure thisââ¬â¢ll work out.â⬠He cut me a wry look. ââ¬Å"Really?â⬠I laughed softly. ââ¬Å"No, not really. Iââ¬â¢m just trying to make you feel better. I never realized before how much you liked yourâ⬠¦what would you call it? Imp vision?â⬠This finally got him to smile. ââ¬Å"You always thought of me as a paper pusher?â⬠ââ¬Å"Nah, no one uses paper anymore. Itââ¬â¢s all electronic.â⬠ââ¬Å"Not in Hell,â⬠he said, standing up. ââ¬Å"They kind of like cutting down forests.â⬠I followed him to the door. ââ¬Å"Well, hang in there, and Iââ¬â¢ll see you tonight.â⬠ââ¬Å"What are you going to do with your newfound freedom?â⬠he asked, hand on the doorknob. I frowned. ââ¬Å"What do you mean? This whole thing isnââ¬â¢t quite the same for you and me as it is for the vampires.â⬠The look Hugh gave me then was genuinely amused and almost pitying. ââ¬Å"Georgina. Your shape-shifting and other abilities are fueled by human life. If you canââ¬â¢t do those things, then you donââ¬â¢t need the energy-just like Cody and Hugh donââ¬â¢t need blood. Canââ¬â¢t you feel it? The whole systemââ¬â¢s probably shut off.â⬠I froze and almost stopped breathing for a moment-which might not have been so wise in my current state. â⬠What ?â⬠He laughed again. ââ¬Å"How could you have not considered that?â⬠ââ¬Å"Wellâ⬠¦because I was more focused on the entire fabric of Seattleââ¬â¢s demonic hierarchy being unraveled. That and the possibility that we could all die.â⬠Inside, my mind was replaying his words over and over, like a record that kept skipping: You donââ¬â¢t need the energy, you donââ¬â¢t need the energyâ⬠¦ I shook my head. ââ¬Å"I canââ¬â¢t believe that. It isnââ¬â¢t possible.â⬠Iââ¬â¢d wanted it for too long, the ability to be with someone without the dire side effects. It was one of those things you always longed for but knew, deep down inside, could never happen. Like winning the lottery. Or, um, living forever. ââ¬Å"Neither is a vampire going into the sun,â⬠said Hugh. ââ¬Å"Yet here we are.â⬠He leaned down and kissed my cheek. ââ¬Å"Think about it. This is a once in a lifetime-er, eternity-chance.â⬠He started to leave, and then something Iââ¬â¢d nearly forgotten about popped back into the forefront of my mind. ââ¬Å"Hugh? Did you get my message earlier? About the Canadian Satanists?â⬠After everything else, a few signs on the Space Needle suddenly seemed absurdly unimportant. ââ¬Å"Yeah,â⬠he said, with a grimace. ââ¬Å"They had a huge spectacle there, freaked people out. They made the news and got arrested. Not sure whatââ¬â¢ll happen now. The international thing makes it all interesting.â⬠ââ¬Å"Were you able to tell Jerome?â⬠ââ¬Å"No, couldnââ¬â¢t get a hold of him-not surprising if that was near the time of the summoning. I ended up getting a hold of Mei, and I think she did something to minimize how much the media found out. She was hoping that nobody in Management would notice.â⬠ââ¬Å"Yeah, well, theyââ¬â¢re all noticing us now.â⬠Hughââ¬â¢s face was hard as he nodded his agreement. ââ¬Å"Thatââ¬â¢s an understatement. Have fun, sweetie.â⬠He departed, leaving me standing there and staring at the door. I was still breathing heavily, my heart thudding in my chest. I needed to calm down and think this through. After all, who knew what could happen if I had a panic attack? Would I go into cardiac arrest or something? All bets were off now. Anything was possible. I sank down to the floor, wrapping my arms around myself, and focused on slowing my breathing. This was all too surreal. I couldnââ¬â¢t process it. It wasnââ¬â¢t possible that I could be mortal. It wasnââ¬â¢t possible that I could die. It wasnââ¬â¢t possible that I could actually touch a man without harming him. Over and over I told myself those things. Meanwhile, Aubrey strolled over to me and rubbed her head against my leg. Reaching out, I stroked her back, barely aware of my actions. What was I going to do? We had five hours until the meeting, which couldnââ¬â¢t come soon enough as far as I was concerned. I needed answers now . I couldnââ¬â¢t live with this uncertainty. My heart started racing again. Fuck. I really was going to have a heart attack. Hugh was a doctor in his day job; maybe I should call him about my blood pressure. Callâ⬠¦ An idea hit me then, and I stood up to go find my purse. Producing my cell phone, I dialed Dante. If anyone might know about this, it would be him. He probably wouldnââ¬â¢t know the intricacies of how this affected my infernal standing, but he had to know something about demon summoning. Dark magic was his specialty. Besides, I wanted more than just his expertise. I suddenly just wantedâ⬠¦well, comfort. I wanted to see him. I wanted him to hold me and reassure me. I needed him to tell me everything was going to be okay. But the phone rang and rang without answer, sending me to his voice mailââ¬â¢s friendly message: ââ¬Å"Talk.â⬠So much for that plan. I disconnected and leaned against my counter. Slowly, steadily, I felt my brain waking up, trying to find a scrap of reason through my fear. It wasnââ¬â¢t in my nature to be passive. I had to do something about this. I couldnââ¬â¢t wait until tonight for answers. ââ¬Å"Letââ¬â¢s research this ourselves, Aubrey,â⬠I said. The average human knew nothing about the true nature of Heaven and Hell and how we operated. Yet, every once in a while, if you looked hard enough into arcane writings, you could stumble across a piece of truth that some adept mortal had uncovered. Ninety-nine percent of what Iââ¬â¢d find would be inaccurate, but an Internet search could uncover some grain of truth about demon summoning. It was a total long shot, but it was the best I could do for now. Only, when I went to get my laptop, I discovered an unfortunate fact: Iââ¬â¢d left it at the bookstore. I groaned. Now what? Another plan shot down. You idiot , a voice inside me chastised. Youââ¬â¢re a few blocks away. Get off your ass and get it . That logic made perfect sense, of course. Until I looked out the window. The same fear Iââ¬â¢d had earlier returned. The cars moving along Queen Anne Avenue seemed too fast, the wind stirring the trees too strong, the people on the sidewalk too dangerous. How could I go out there? How could I put myself at risk? Better to stay in here where it was safe. And yetâ⬠¦how could I wait around? I was going to go crazy if I sat here. Glancing down at Aubrey, I saw her watching me with her green eyes. She had that infinitely wise look cats had sometimes. It wasnââ¬â¢t exactly encouraging, but it soothed me a little. Okay. I could do this. I found my coat and started to shape-shift my messy hair into a neat arrangement-except, of course, I immediately realized I couldnââ¬â¢t shape-shift it. Not a problem, I assured myself. I did my hair all the time when I wasnââ¬â¢t in a rush. This was no different. With a quick dash to the restroom, I brushed my hair into a sleek ponytail and prepared to face the world. Stepping outdoors, I was blasted with stimuli. I stood on the steps to my building, shell-shocked and unable to move. This had never happened to me. Never, never had I been afraid of the world. Iââ¬â¢d always rejoiced in it and been eager to see what it had to offer. Slipping my hand into my purse, I reached for my cigarettes, seeking them like a safety blanket. When I took them out, I realized something else. I wasnââ¬â¢t necessarily immune to them anymore. This stasis probably wouldnââ¬â¢t last longâ⬠¦but how could I risk it? How could I expose myself to carcinogens when I had no idea how vulnerable I truly was? Putting the cigarettes back, I took a deep breath and plunged forward. The distance to the store was barely three blocks, but it felt like miles. I walked as far away as I could from traffic and flinched each time someone passed me. When I finally reached the intersection to cross over to Emerald City, I was sweating. Queen Anne Avenue is not an overly crazy road. This particular spot had three lanes and steady traffic, with a moderate speed of 30 (which meant people could usually be found going 35?C40). Nonetheless, standing there, I might as well have been trying to cross I-5 itself, with five lanes racing in each direction. The crosswalk was red, giving me time to build up courage and remind myself that Iââ¬â¢d crossed here hundreds of times-jaywalking more often than not. I was being irrational, freaking out at things I had no business worrying about. The light dinged and gave me the go-ahead. I set out, each step agony. Iââ¬â¢d almost reached the far curb when a Honda turning on red from the cross street suddenly pulled into the intersection, having only checked for cars and not pedestrians. Seeing me, the driver slammed on her brakes a bit more harshly than she probably needed. They squealed, and the car came to a stop about two feet from me. While moderately alarming, this wasnââ¬â¢t anything that probably would have scared me too much under ordinary circumstances. The car had stopped, after all, and I was almost across anyway. Yet, I was so on edge already that when I heard the brakes and saw how close she was, I simply froze. I stood there, caught-literally-in the headlights. I couldnââ¬â¢t think or move. It was so stupid. Seven more steps, and I would have been safe. The womanââ¬â¢s panic over avoiding me turned to annoyance when she realized I was blocking her way. She pressed down on her horn, which was a particularly loud and obnoxious one. Unfortunately for her, it was ineffectual. If anything, the noise simply froze me up more. Suddenly, someone grabbed a hold of my arm and started tugging me to the curb. The bitch in the Honda kept honking, and I think I was nearly as startled by it as I was when Seth yelled to her, ââ¬Å"Oh, shut up already!â⬠His steady hands guided me to the sidewalk where I promptly froze up again, oblivious to the curious cars and pedestrians. Cupping my face, he forced me to look up at him. His eyes were like warm molasses, and something about them spread comfort through me and brought me back to myself. ââ¬Å"Georgina, are you okay?â⬠My whole body trembled, and it took me a moment to gather myself and speak. ââ¬Å"Iâ⬠¦I think soâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ His voice was so, so gentle when he spoke. ââ¬Å"What happened there?â⬠I blinked back tears. ââ¬Å"Nothingâ⬠¦that isâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ I couldnââ¬â¢t finish. I was going to break down, then and there, right on Queen Anne Avenue. I hated myself for being so weak and scared. ââ¬Å"Never mind,â⬠said Seth, taking hold of my arm again. ââ¬Å"It doesnââ¬â¢t matter. Youââ¬â¢re safe. Letââ¬â¢s go inside.â⬠If any of my co-workers saw Seth leading me through like an invalid, I didnââ¬â¢t notice. In fact, I was barely aware of the trek at all until we were inside my office. Seth sat me down and then shut the door. He leaned down toward me. ââ¬Å"Do you need anything? Water? Something to eat?â⬠Slowly, almost robot-like, I shook my head. ââ¬Å"N-no. Iâ⬠¦I just came for my laptop.â⬠The normal look of timidity heââ¬â¢d worn around me lately had vanished, replaced by something stern and concerned-something that wouldnââ¬â¢t rest until he knew I was okay. He was no longer the shy author who feared looking at me and always gave me a wide berth. He was once again the man Iââ¬â¢d dated, the man whoââ¬â¢d always been able to read my moods and step up to help. ââ¬Å"Georgina, please. Please tell me what happened.â⬠It looked as though my tears were going to stay away, and now that I was indoors, in familiar territory, I allowed myself to feel a little braver. ââ¬Å"Why are you being so nice to me again?â⬠He frowned. ââ¬Å"Why wouldnââ¬â¢t I be nice to you?â⬠ââ¬Å"Becauseâ⬠¦becauseâ⬠¦I wasnââ¬â¢t very nice to you the last time we talked. Even after you gave me the book.â⬠He made a noise in his throat, almost like a laugh, but not quite. ââ¬Å"You werenââ¬â¢t yourself, not after all those drinks. Itââ¬â¢s fine.â⬠ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t know,â⬠I said contrarily, ââ¬Å"maybe I was myself.â⬠He shook his head. ââ¬Å"It wouldnââ¬â¢t matter. Now tell me, what happened out there?â⬠The warmth in his voice, the concernâ⬠¦it was tearing me apart. There was something so familiar and safe about him that I longed for right now, and I couldnââ¬â¢t evade him. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢sâ⬠¦complicated,â⬠I said at last. ââ¬Å"Immortal intrigue?â⬠I nodded, feeling tears well in my eyes again. Fuck. I think half of my emotion now was from the way he was looking at me and had nothing to do with the rest of my lifeââ¬â¢s madness. I stood up and looked away, hoping he wouldnââ¬â¢t see my face, but it was no use. ââ¬Å"Georgina, whatââ¬â¢s happened? Youââ¬â¢re scaring me.â⬠I dared a glance back. ââ¬Å"Youâ⬠¦you wouldnââ¬â¢t believe me if I told you.â⬠His face was still filled with worry, but the hint of a smile turned up the edges of his lips. ââ¬Å"Can you seriously believe that after half the stuff Iââ¬â¢ve seen you go through? Try me.â⬠ââ¬Å"Fair enough,â⬠I admitted. ââ¬Å"But I donââ¬â¢t want to get you involved.â⬠ââ¬Å"I want to help,â⬠he said, moving closer. His voice was like velvet, wrapping me up in softness and security. ââ¬Å"Please. Tell me whatââ¬â¢s going on.â⬠I wanted to tell him there was nothing he could do, but suddenly, words spilled from my lips. ââ¬Å"Jerome got summoned-which means heââ¬â¢s trapped somewhere and-ââ¬Å" ââ¬Å"Whoa, wait. Summoned? Like in Dr. Faustus ?â⬠ââ¬Å"Um, yeah. And so long as heââ¬â¢s gone, weââ¬â¢re all in this weird state. Peter calls it ââ¬Ëstasis.ââ¬â¢ None of us have our pow-abilities anymore. I canââ¬â¢t shape-shift. Hugh canââ¬â¢t see souls. The only ones who are happy about this are the vampires because they can go in the sun again, whichââ¬â¢ll probably end up killing them. And if we donââ¬â¢t find Jerome soon, someone else is going to take over here, and I really donââ¬â¢t want that. And yetâ⬠¦I really donââ¬â¢t want to go another second like this either, being in this limbo. I want everything to go back to how it was.â⬠Sethââ¬â¢s face was unreadable as he regarded me for several heavy seconds. Finally, he said, ââ¬Å"Is itâ⬠¦is it so bad going without shape-shifting?â⬠I shook my head and began to ramble further. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s not that. Itââ¬â¢s the fact that I may not be immortal anymore. I canââ¬â¢tâ⬠¦I canââ¬â¢t handle that. Coming here was horrible. The walk from my apartment. Iââ¬â¢m afraid of everything. Itââ¬â¢s stupid. I mean, you guys-humans-get by all the time and donââ¬â¢t think about it. But Iââ¬â¢m scared to leave the house. Scared of what could happen to me. And when that car didnââ¬â¢t see me right away-fuck. I just froze. I was paralyzed. God, I feel like an idiot. I must sound crazy.â⬠At long last, a tear leaked out of the corner of one eye, the final stamp on my weakness. Seth reached out and gently wiped it away. He didnââ¬â¢t withdraw his hand when finished, though. He slid it to my shoulder and pulled me to him. I rested my head on his chest, swallowing back more tears as I sank into the protection he offered. ââ¬Å"Georgina, Georgina,â⬠he murmured, running his hand over my back. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s going to be okay. Everythingââ¬â¢s going to be okay.â⬠Those wordsâ⬠¦there was something so wonderful about them, simple as they were. When people are distressed, others have an instinct to want to actually do something tangible to help-men in particular. And thereââ¬â¢s nothing wrong with that-often, itââ¬â¢s very much desired. But what a lot of people donââ¬â¢t get is that sometimes, all thatââ¬â¢s needed is to hear those words: Everythingââ¬â¢s going to be okay . Itââ¬â¢s enough to know that someoneââ¬â¢s there, that someone cares about you. It isnââ¬â¢t always about the next logical course of action. My next words, spoken into his Hong Kong Phooey shirt, came out muffled. ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t know whatââ¬â¢s going to happen. With any of this. Iââ¬â¢m so scared. I donââ¬â¢t think Iââ¬â¢ve been this afraid since I thought Roman was going to kill me.â⬠ââ¬Å"Nothing will happen to you. You said yourself this wonââ¬â¢t last more than a few days. Just wait it out.â⬠ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t wait very well.â⬠He laughed and leaned his cheek against my forehead. ââ¬Å"I know you donââ¬â¢t. Donââ¬â¢t worry. Most of us do far more dangerous things than walk two blocks, and we survive just fine. Yeah, that car kind of sucked, but even still, nothing happened.â⬠ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s two and a half blocks,â⬠I corrected. ââ¬Å"Not two.â⬠ââ¬Å"Right. I forgot that extra half one where the sharks and land mines are.â⬠I pulled away slightly so that I could look into his face. His arms stayed around me. ââ¬Å"I have to find Jerome, Seth.â⬠His smile faded. The worry returned. ââ¬Å"Georginaâ⬠¦if you want to stay safe, going after him probably isnââ¬â¢t the way to do it. You donââ¬â¢t always have to take this stuff on yourself, you know. Let someone else look for him. Stay home.â⬠ââ¬Å"Thatââ¬â¢s the thingâ⬠¦Iââ¬â¢m not sure anyone will be looking for him. Why would the other demons want him back? They want his territory. They arenââ¬â¢t going to be happy if heââ¬â¢s found.â⬠Seth sighed. ââ¬Å"Great. Now Iââ¬â¢m the one worried about you leaving the house.â⬠ââ¬Å"Hey, I thought you said everything was going to be okay?â⬠ââ¬Å"Gotta be careful what I say.â⬠Eyes thoughtful, he reached up and smoothed some hair on the side of my head. ââ¬Å"Why are you so brave?â⬠I scoffed. ââ¬Å"Are you insane? Didnââ¬â¢t you just witness my near breakdown?â⬠ââ¬Å"No,â⬠he said gently. ââ¬Å"Thatââ¬â¢s the thing. You are scared. You donââ¬â¢t know whatââ¬â¢s going on or what could happen to you. Yet, in spite of that fear and uncertainty, youââ¬â¢re going to throw yourself out there to hunt him down. No one else would do that, and you do that kind of thing all the time.â⬠Inexplicably, I flushed under his praise. ââ¬Å"I was only going to do a Web search.â⬠ââ¬Å"You know what I mean. I think youââ¬â¢ve got more courage than anyone I know-and whatââ¬â¢s truly amazing is that itââ¬â¢s so subtle, hardly anyone ever notices. You do so much, and it goes unseen. I wish I was that brave sometimes.â⬠ââ¬Å"You are,â⬠I said, growing increasingly unsettled by our proximity. I also noticed then that he was still smoothing my hair back. ââ¬Å"What are you doing to my hair? Does it look bad or something?â⬠ââ¬Å"Your hair never looks bad.â⬠He dropped his hand sheepishly. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s justâ⬠¦a little messier than usual.â⬠ââ¬Å"I brushed it fifteen minutes ago!â⬠Seth shrugged. ââ¬Å"I donââ¬â¢t know. Itââ¬â¢s just kind of frizzy, but thatââ¬â¢s probably normal. Thereââ¬â¢s a little humidity out.â⬠ââ¬Å"Frizzy? My hairââ¬â¢s never frizzy.â⬠ââ¬Å"Georgina,â⬠he said wearily. ââ¬Å"Considering everything else going on, I donââ¬â¢t think you need to worry about your hair being frizzy.â⬠ââ¬Å"Yeah, yeah. Youââ¬â¢re right.â⬠I made a face. ââ¬Å"I just feel like I got a raw deal here. The vampires are having a non-stop party. Me? I somehow get bad hair. Not sure the energy break is really worth it.â⬠Seth tilted his head, face puzzled once more. ââ¬Å"Energy break?â⬠ââ¬Å"Yeah. Along with everything else, I lost the need for life energy, so Iââ¬â¢m not-ââ¬Å" I stopped. The world stopped. I met Sethââ¬â¢s eyes, those beautiful golden-brown eyes that were filled with utter and complete shock as we both realized the full weight of what I had been about to say. His hold on me stiffened. The casual embrace suddenly became so much more. I was acutely aware of every place we were touching and exactly how much distance was between the places we werenââ¬â¢t touching. He felt warm, so wonderfully warm, and every place he touched me tingled-not necessarily in a sexual way but in a Oh my God, itââ¬â¢s Seth way. My entire body was on full alert, waiting and watching-and hoping-for him to touch me more. He swallowed, eyes still wide. ââ¬Å"So you arenââ¬â¢tâ⬠¦I mean you canâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ ââ¬Å"Yeah,â⬠I said, my own voice husky. ââ¬Å"Thatââ¬â¢s the theory, at least. I havenââ¬â¢t really tested itâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ My words faded off because they didnââ¬â¢t matter. My relationship with Seth had been plagued with a hundred small problems, everything from communication to trust and the myriad details in between. And always, always underneath that had been the knowledge that we could never be physically close. Oh, weââ¬â¢d been able to hug and do some kissing-there was even a fair amount of tongue we could get away with before my succubus hunger started stealing his life. But ultimate intimacy? Sex? Making love? It was totally off-limits, and that denial had tortured both of us, no matter how much we talked about love being the most important part in a relationship. And nowâ⬠¦here we were. Those barriers were removed. I hadnââ¬â¢t tested if my succubus stealing really was gone, but I didnââ¬â¢t need to. I could feel it, as Hugh had said. The perpetual craving that always lurked within me was completely dormant. I could touch and kiss anyone without restraint. I could touch and kiss Seth. There was nothing standing between us now. Well, except for one thing. A knock sounded on my door. ââ¬Å"Georgina? Are you in there?â⬠Maddie called. It was like cold water in the face. Seth and I sprang apart. He backed toward the door, and I promptly sat down at my desk. My heart was pounding again. Damn it. I was going to have to talk to Hugh and get an anti-anxiety drug. ââ¬Å"Yeah, come in,â⬠I called. Maddie stuck her head in, surprised to see both of us. ââ¬Å"There you are,â⬠she said to Seth. ââ¬Å"I just got here and couldnââ¬â¢t find you.â⬠Seth was still in shock. ââ¬Å"Iâ⬠¦yeahâ⬠¦I saw Georgina was here and stopped byâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ Maddie peered at me. ââ¬Å"You okay? You look a little worn out.â⬠Her eyes flicked to my hair and then back to my face. ââ¬Å"Did you just wake up?â⬠Apparently, I no longer looked like I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, which was something. I hadnââ¬â¢t liked the way she eyed my hair. ââ¬Å"Well, not exactly. Itââ¬â¢s, uh, been a long day.â⬠I stumbled over my words. I was so flustered, I could barely string a coherent response together. Sethââ¬â¢s presence was like the sun, blinding me and warming me all over, and Maddie was making me feel guilty and dirty for enjoying that sun. ââ¬Å"Is everything okay with your family?â⬠she asked. ââ¬Å"My-oh, yeah, theyââ¬â¢re okay. Still just a little crazy, but itââ¬â¢ll, um, pass.â⬠I stood and picked up the laptop, hoping I sounded casual and calm. I needed to get out before I said something stupid. As it was, I couldnââ¬â¢t even make eye contact with Seth now. ââ¬Å"I really just came by for this.â⬠Maddie studied me a few seconds longer and must have decided I was more or less telling the truth. She relaxed and seemed oblivious to me trying frantically to get to the door. ââ¬Å"Hey,â⬠she said, ââ¬Å"I was thinking you might not need to go to California for beaches.â⬠ââ¬Å"Forâ⬠¦what?â⬠ââ¬Å"Remember our conversation at Markââ¬â¢s?â⬠ââ¬Å"Er, yeah.â⬠Miraculously, I did. The condo thing, when I told her I had a beach itch. ââ¬Å"I have the perfect solution: Alki.â⬠ââ¬Å"Alki?â⬠asked Seth, confused. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s a secret.â⬠She winked at me. ââ¬Å"I thought that might be a good place to start looking. What do you think?â⬠ââ¬Å"Sure. Sounds great.â⬠Alki Beach was a region of West Seattle that stuck out into Puget Sound. While it was a far cry from a Cyprian beach, it was, well, a beach. And if agreeing that it was a good idea would get me to the doorâ⬠¦ ââ¬Å"Cool! And what about dancing?â⬠ââ¬Å"Huh? What about it?â⬠I probably looked like a deer in the headlights again. This agitated state of mine didnââ¬â¢t make for good topic-jumping. ââ¬Å"Teaching salsa. I mentioned it to Beth and Casey, and they were pretty excited.â⬠ââ¬Å"Oh. Yeah. Sure. I can do that.â⬠I was seriously about to agree to anything to escape. Her face lit up. ââ¬Å"Oh, thank you! Is this week too soon? I bet we could get everyone together on, oh, Thursday.â⬠ââ¬Å"Sure, sure, thatââ¬â¢s fine.â⬠I was almost at the door. ââ¬Å"Oh, thank you! Thisââ¬â¢ll be fun. Iââ¬â¢ll double-check the day with everyone and e-mail you. If something comes upâ⬠¦I mean, I know youââ¬â¢re under a lot of stressâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ I waved it off. ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s fine, really. Have a good night, okay?â⬠I put on a winning smile and quickly walked past both of them. As I stepped out the door, though, I glanced back and met Sethââ¬â¢s eyes. My smile faltered. A thousand messages passed between us, just as they used to when we were dating. Only this time, I wasnââ¬â¢t sure what any of them were saying. I kept walking, suddenly realizing I had a lot more than mortality to worry about. How to cite Succubus Heat CHAPTER 11, Essay examples

Question: Discuss about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. Answer: Introduction: The North American Free Trade Agreement of NAFTA is considered as one of the most unpleasant agreement in United States. The agreement was signed by Mexico, United States and Canada. The American companies have advantage over this deal, especially countries having many lower wageworkers in foreign countries. In contrast, this agreement is criticized by the American workers, who have lost their employment and getting low wage. These labour unions raised their voice against this trade agreement, due to not getting any benefits from this agreement. Thus, the trend of business is changing frequently (Lahrech Sylwester, 2013). Moreoevr, the North American Free Trade Agreement is not also supported by Trump and Clinton, as the agreement is unable to meet their business expectation and Trade agreement. A number of previous literatures have represented approximately tenfold trade deficit between these two countries from $17bn to $175bn within 1993 to 2013. Due to the shifting of manufacturi ng facilities of American enterprises, jobs were expatriated outside of the country for pursuing low wage workers (Macleod, 2015). In contrast, a deal was signed between United States and European Union, known as Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. Economy and Trading are two key aspects of these two developed countries. Both EU and US based companies has their branches and operates in the other country. It has been reported that the establishment of free trade between these two countries, always have a positive effect and results in reduction of unemployment with a free of cost package. This agreement between these two countries increased the economic growth and GDP of these countries by 0.5 % per annum (Akhtar Jones, 2013). The result is additional economic activity along with additional production of $200 bn per annum. For instance it has been revealed that due to the clearance of regulatory requirements, both the automobile industry and pharmaceutical industry revealed significant benefits from both sides. The trade agreement has also shown benefits for these two countries regarding the import t axes and tariffs. Therefore, after analyzing the efforts by the Transatlantic Trade and Investment partnership (TTIP), it can be interpreted that the agreement TTIP is advantageous to the countries, as these countries have experienced unemployment, lower economic growth and government issues. Thus, the free trade agreement will attempt to resolve these above mentioned conflicts from both sides. Thus, the labour unions of US are not opposing the TTIP agreement (Jarman, 2014).
